Vincent Oliver of PCPRO Magazine recently (December 2001, p 203.) reviewed MonacoEZcolor, awarding it 6 out of 6 stars. Mr. Oliver had this to say: "Creating custom profiles with MonacoEZcolor 2 for input and output devices is easy. The monitor calibration is crucial, as all profiles look to the monitor settings for a reference point. The printer profiles created excellent prints right from the start, with several paper types and resolutions each producing superb images. Andrew Rodney, industry expert and one of our toughest critics, wrote about the software in the September/October issue of Photoshop User (p.60). Andrew's review was positive, and he praises MonacoEZcolor 2, saying, "…using an inexpensive UMAX flatbed scanner, version 2.0 produced great output profiles to an Epson 1280." He also writes, "The profile generated using matte paper on the Epson was so good, no editing was required." Mr. Rodney awarded MonacoEZcolor 2 a 4-star rating.

Users of the previous version will find the profiles more accurate than those generated by MonacoEZcolor 1.6, so upgrading is well worth the price. Bruce Fraser has reviewed MonacoEZcolor for Macworld Magazine, giving it a four-mouse rating! Bruce sums it up by saying that MonacoEZcolor "offers a great solution at a reasonable price, and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to make it work."
